The following are suggestions for helping your children do their homework without doing it for them:

Help them have a plan.  If a child is working on a paper or project, parents can help by setting up a plan of action and helping the child stay organized and focused.

The war is constantly raging and the fierce battle is on.  No, I am not speaking of the war in Iraq or the ongoing battle against terrorism.  I am talking about the continuing battle raging on the inside of our bodies between renegade oxygen molecules called free radicals and the bodies' police force known as antioxidants.

The Bible is not a science book.  Bet you already knew that…   However, the Bible does make scientific statements.  And to the chagrin of modern science, the scientific statements it does make are amazingly accurate – all the more amazing when you consider that most of these statements were made centuries before their discovery by modern science.

Many of today's vehicles have automatic transmissions that don't require regular adjustments.  The owner's manual for many of these vehicles even suggest that you may go as high as 100,000 miles before it is is necessary to change the transmission fluid.  All this makes it sound as though your automatic transmission is almost maintenance free.

Today I was in one of my co-worker's office.  Placed at the top of her bulletin board was the following hand-written quote “Go where you are celebrated, not tolerated.”  My co-worker informed me that this was a favorite quote from one of our very successful colleague's mother.
